There needs to be a way so that you can see the other characters on you friends or guildmate's account.

Umm, you can. When they're logged in they'll show up on your friends/guild list under whatever name they're using - if it's on the same account.

Yeah, you can - say for example someone has my IGN silhouette eyes on there, well if i log in as megan deathlove on their friend list it says silhouette eyes (megan deathlove)
